Shocking details have emerged of how Uganda’s Assistanr Inspector General of Police, Andrew Felix Kaweesi was shot dead on Friday morning.
Kaweesi who doubled as the Police Force’s spokesperson died together with his driver and bodyguard as they lefty his home in Kulambiro, Nakawa Division in the capital, Kampala.

Our sources reveal that Kaweesi was shot by a group of people riding on two motorcycles at 9:30am.
“Two motorcycles with a passenger each approached after it had emerged from his home and started spraying it with bullets from guns which appeared to be AK47s,” a witness told local media on Friday.
He added that on hearing the rain of bullets, the driver tried to increase speed to escape but
it was too late.
After the mission, one of the assassins reportedly advanced direct into Kaweesi’s car, opened the doors to confirm that the police boss was hit vanished.
Kaweesi’s assassination comes just over four months after a Uganda Peoples Defense Forces (UPDF) officer was gunned down in similar manner.
A number of Muslim clerics have also been killed in similar fashion.
