Muzamiru Tulu, the referee who awarded Vipers SC a controversial goal as they beat Mbarara City at Kakyeka stadium last November, will be in charge of the opening game of the Ankole Lions when they play away to Police at Namboole Stadium.
The game was headed to a stalemate but Congolese striker Clovis Moussa Mbayi drove in what proved to be the winner on 79 minutes when he came on as a second half substitute.
The referee however needed video replays to allow the goal amidst protests from the home team players who claimed they had been cheated.
But if Mbarara City thought lightning doesnt strike twice, they are wrong. Tulu will again decide their fate against hard nuts Police FC as the second round of the league returns this weekend.
Another controversial referee, Robert Donney, will be in charge of the fixture between Proline and Kirinya Jinja SS.
