Uganda’s President Yoweri Museveni on Friday celebrated his 73rd birthday in the company of Nigerian Generals and the West African nation’s President Muhammad Buhari.

The president’s birthday comes on the heels of an announcement by lawmakers from the ruling National Resistance Movement (NRM) to pass a motion aimed at lifting the presidential age limit that prevents anybody from leading beyond 75.
“My gratitude to the officers at the National Defence College who sang me a birthday song before the lecture and later gave me a birthday gift,” Museveni wrote on his social media accounts on Friday evening.
He added, “I also thank President Buhari for hosting First Lady Janet, myself and our entourage to a sumptuous luncheon.”

Museveni was in Abuja Nigeria, where he was invited as chief guest at the National Defence College’s inaugration of its 26th class. The President delivered a lecture at the National Defence College soon after arrival
His lecture focused on integration, prosperity and African strategic security.
