Chinese billionaire, Jack Ma’s medical equipment donated to help fight coronavirus in Uganda arrived at Entebbe International Airport on Tuesday.
Jack Ma, the co-founder of the online store Alibaba, is sending millions of test kits, surgical masks and protective clothing to the continent, where now more than 1,000 cases have been confirmed by the Centre for Disease Control.
“The Ethiopian Airlines cargo flight delivered the Jack Ma consignment today at Entebbe International airport. As part of the Jack Ma and Alibaba Group support to the fight against COVIDー19, Uganda received: -100,000 masks, 20,089 test kits, 741 PPEs, 1,111 face shields,” Heath Ministry said.
