Captain Ivan Mecklenburg (pictured above) is an experienced pilot working with Uganda Airlines. He brings to the table extensive experience on the Airbus family of aircraft with over 13000 hours on the A320 and A330 combined.
He is mostly experienced with flying in Latin America with Avianca, AeroPeru and Espresso Aereo. He is therefore well experienced in flying in tropical environments similar to our own.
A pleasant warm personality with eagerness to share his knowledge, Mecklenburg will no doubt be a valued asset in building Uganda Airlines crew competency as well as contributing to the establishment of best industry practices in the national carrier’s operations as it adapts to the operation of the A330.
