Kasese Woman MP, Winnie Kiiza has revealed that her husband, Yokasi Bihande, a former MP has been arrested by security forces.
Winnie made the revelation on Thursday on Facebook saying he had been arrested by a joint team of police and the army while he canvassed votes for presidential candidate Mugisha Muntu.
“A joint operation of the Uganda Police and the Uganda People’s Defence Forces have arrested my husband, Hon. Bwambale Yokasi Bihande, when he was canvassing for votes for Maj. Gen. Mugisha Muntu in Kikyo-Bundibugyo District. It’s extremely frustrating!” Winnie posted on her Facebook page.
It is not clear what his crime is as the police is yet to speak on the matter.
