The Health Ministry’s Permanent Secretary, Dr Diana Atwine has warned the public to be careful about a fake email address created in her names.
Diana issued the warning on Monday saying wrong elements were trying to fleece unsuspecting members of the public using her name.
“It has come to my attention that a fake email account was created in my names by some wrong elements and is being used to widely send out spam messages to different people. Please disregard as we follow up the matter. Thank you,” she posted on her social media pages.
It is not yet clear who i behind the fake email address, however, like Diana says, investigations are underway.
Ever since her appointment as PS, Diana has been implementing changes at the ministry that have seen the efficiency of staff improved. However, sources say this has not amused some.
In November last year, she celebrated three years as PS of the Health ministry.
