First son Muhoozi Kainerugaba, who doubles as UPDF Land Forces Commander has praised Uganda Airlines for its efficient and excellent services.
Muhoozi tasted Uganda Airlines’ world-class services during his flight to Kigali where he had gone to meet the Rwandan President, Paul Kagame for talks about how to improve bilateral relations between Uganda and Rwanda.
Taking to his tweeter handle, Muhoozi said Uganda Airlines is quickly proving to be one of the best airlines in the world.
He tweeted: ”I also want to thank the amazing, efficient and excellent @UG_Airlines crew that took our delegation to Kigali and back. @UG_Airlines is quickly proving to be one of the best airlines in the world!”
Uganda Airlines is the national carrier for Uganda. It started commercial operations in August 2019.
The national carrier has expanded its network to 11 destinations since inception.
Some of the Uganda Airlines operational routes include Nairobi, Mombasa, Dubai, Kinshasa, Johannesburg, Juba, Dar es Salaam Mogadishu and Bujumbura.
According to Uganda Airlines CEO Jenifer Bamuturaki, the national carrier aims to expand its long-haul network in 2022 and operate direct flights to cities in Europe, the Middle East, India and the Far East.
