The Uganda Electoral Commission has set December 16, 2021 as the polling date for Kayunga Local Council V (LCV).
The district LCV seat fell vacant after LCV Chairman Ffefeka Sserubugo died on June 16, 2021.
Now, the EC, as mandated, is conducting an exercise leading to the filling of the vacant seat.
According to the roadmap, first time voters will start applying for registration between October 22 – October 26, 2021 while displaying will take place between November 8 and November 17, 2021, ahead of the polling date a month later.
The EC has directed the public to the Commission’s website of the Kayunga EC offices for further details.
