DFCU Limited has announced Pader Branch Manager, Julius Ogeatum as the company’s exceptional employee for the year 2021/22.
This announcement was made during the 57th Annual General Meeting held on Thursday at the Kampala Serena Hotel.
Ogeatum saw off competition from Faridah Nalubega (1st runner-up) and Andrew Sengendo (2nd runner-up). These emerged out of the 521 submissions received. They were then trimmed to 10 before Ogeatum emerged as the best employee.
According to DFCU, Ogeatum joined the bank eight years ago and served as a customer service officer and teller among other positions. Between 2021 and 2022, Ogeatum is said to have grown Pader DFCU bank branch to Shs5.6 billion against a target of Shs 3.1 billion. He also achieved 118% of his other obligations out of a target of 100%. He was awarded the Dr. Kalema Excellence Award for his exceptional work in the past year.
