dfcu Bank Unveils New Product For High-Net-Worth Customers In Move To Transform Uganda’s Financial Landscape

dfcu Bank has launched dfcu Xclusive Banking—a premium, high-net-worth banking experience that redefines personalized financial services for the bank’s customers.  This bold move is set to transform Uganda’s financial landscape.

The product was launched at a sumptuous dinner held at Serena Hotel in Kampala on Wednesday to honour the bank’s high-net-worth customers.

Prof. August Nuwagaba, Deputy Governor, Bank of Uganda, witnessed the launch of the new product.

The product comes with a drawing of up to Shs 10 million from the ATM, spending up to Shs30 million online, funeral and travel benefits, among others.

“You are special to us. You have walked this journey with us. You deserve these products,” said Prof. Winnie Kiryabwire, the dfcu Bank Board Chairperson.

According to Charles Mudiwa, the dfcu bank Managing Director, the new exclusive banking experience is for a few special people.

“It’s for a few. It’s exclusive. You are few here. It can’t be exclusive, and you have a crowd,” said Mudiwa.

Annette Kiconco, the Chief Retail Banking Officer at dfcu Bank, said the innovation defines banking for Uganda’s most distinguished individuals.

“This will elevate your banking experience. You spoke, we listened. You said traditional banking is not it. This is going to be seamless, with privileges that suit your status. It is the beginning of a new two-way banking. This is not a product launch; it is a lifestyle and beyond a banking experience,” said Kiconco.
