Aggie Asiimwe Konde, the NTV Managing Director will effective September 8, 2017 cease to be the TV station boss after four and half years of service.
Africa Broadcasting Uganda Ltd (ABUL), a Nation Media Group company and home of NTV/SPARK TV Uganda confirmed the development on Thursday, noting that Konde has been instrumental in building a diversified and profitable portfolio for ABUL over the period she has managed the business. The reasons for her quitting were not revealed. Her next stop is yet to be established.
“She set new broadcast standards that saw the convention of the 1st ever Presidential debate, premiered the Uganda Economic Summit and the first remake of a telemoundo series (Second Chance),” Joe Muganda, the Group CEO, Nation Media Group said.
