Arua Municipality MP Ibrahim Abiriga has been shot dead at Kawanda along Kampala-Gulu Highway by unknown assailants.
Government Chief Whip Ruth Nankabirwa has confirmed this sad news.
He was driving his yellow beattle (Volkswagen). He has been shot dead with his bodyguard.
