Kyadondo East legislator, Robert Kyagulanyi aka Bobi Wine has revealed that he will not relent in his efforts to see Uganda free.
Bobi made this revelation after he had been dropped home by the police following his arrest and consequent detention at Nagalama Police Station on Tuesday.
“Today has been a very traumatizing day. After a bomb attack that almost killed my children, I got arrested and driven to Nagalama police together with my colleague MPs who had come home to see me.
We have just been released now.
This is all meant to torture me physically and psychologically so as to break my spirit.
I want to tell you this again, My heart is hard like rock and I WILL NEVER GIVE UP UNTIL UGANDA IS FREE!” Bobi Wine wrote on his Facebook page.
His defiant message came a day after there were grenade attacks at his residence in Magere, Wakiso district. It is not only his home that was affected. Allan Ssewanyana and Moses Kasibante, both lawmakers representing Makindye West and Rubaga North had their homes attacked in similar manner in what many are calling moves aimed at cowing politicians opposed to the amendment of the presidential age limit. All three MPs want the controversial article maintained.
We are behind you. Bobi only God can part us away.
