BIC, one of the world leaders in stationery, lighters, and shavers, in partnership with Uganda’s leading distributor of Fast-Moving Consumer Goods distributor, African Queen, has held a customer trade event at Sheraton Hotel Kampala, Uganda to address emerging challenges and identify opportunities.
The event which has been a tradition since 2016, aims to recognize and appreciate customers who have continued to support the BIC brand through partnership, ambassadorship, and loyalty. This year’s edition saw 100 customers. in attendance.
Commenting on the occasion, Francois-Lede Xavier, Sales Director at BIC East Africa, said: “We are delighted to connect with our long-term partners, African Queen, and our customers at this event on an annual basis. These events support our proximity strategy and help us continue to provide our partners and customers with what they need.”

Event attendees participated in incentive driven sales trivia about BIC products and the brand. Attendees conversed and shared knowledge, insights, and experience about the industry and the market in general.
