Saudi’s Low-Cost Airline Flynas Makes Maiden Flight To Entebbe

Flynas made its historic flight from Riyadh to Entebbe on Thursday

Flynas, the Saudi air carrier and one of the leading low-cost airlines in the Middle East, has commenced its flights between Riyadh and Entebbe International Airport.

According to Uganda Civil Aviation Authority (UCAA), Flynas’ inaugural flight landed at Entebbe International Airport at 0330 hours and departed at 0430 hours on Thursday, January 16, 2025.

The Airbus 320 neo was welcomed with a water cannon salute. Flynas will operate three weekly flights to Entebbe every Monday, Thursday, and Saturday.

Flynas is a Saudi air carrier and one of the leading low-cost airlines in the Middle East with 61 aircraft, operating more than 1500 weekly flights to more than 70 domestic and international destinations. Since its launch in 2007, Flynas has transported more than 78 million passengers. Recently, in 2024, Flynas has been ranked as the world’s 4th best Low-Cost airline for two consecutive years and the best in the Middle East for the seventh time in a row in 2017, 2018, 2019, 2021, 2022, and 2023.
