Uganda Revenue Authority (URA) has announced 125 companies and institutions that will be exempted from 6% withholding tax for the period January–June 2018.
The list includes top companies and institutions such as City Oil (U) Limited, CNOOC Uganda Ltd, Bank Of Uganda, Hariss International Limited, Jesa Farm Dairy Limited, Kampala Capital City Authority, URA, Kenya Airways Ltd, Kinyara Sugar Limited, Kyambogo University, Multichoice Uganda Limited, National Planning Authority, National Agricultural Advisory Services, National Agricultural Research Organisation, Tororo Cement Ltd, Total E & P Uganda B. V, Tullow Uganda Limited, Uganda Aids Commission, Uganda Batteries Limited and Uganda Coffee Development Authority among others.
