Ghana will arrive in Kampala on Thursday to face Uganda Cranes in their penultimate 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifier on Saturday at Mandela National Stadium, Namboole.
The Black Stars have pitched their training camp in Kenya since Monday to prepare for the task ahead.
Ghana are third in Group ‘E’ with five points- two points behind second-placed Uganda and need to win to stay in touch with leaders Egypt who have nine points.
Despite having faint hopes of qualifying to the final next year, Ghana are bent on winning especially after last month’s morale boosting 5-1 win in Brazzaville against Congo.
Black Stars coach Kwesi Appiah told Ghanaian media: “It looks impossible for us to qualify, but in football, anything can happen.
That is why we are not giving up yet. We still have something to fight for and we will do just that. We need to be better placed for everything.”
Uganda managed to draw with Ghana in the opening World Cup qualifier at the Tamale Stadium.
