Parliament has mourned self-claimed god, Omukama Ruhanga Owobusobozi Bisaka, describing him as a person who championed unity and poverty eradication in Bunyoro region.
The motion to pay tribute to Bisaka was brought by the first deputy Prime Minister, Moses Ali and seconded by the leader of opposition Betty Aol Ocan.
Bisaka passed away last month from Aga Khan Hospital in Nairobi and he was the founder and leader of the Faith of Unity cult based in Kagadi district .
Moses Ali described the late as someone who offered distinguished service to his country and he will be remembered for uniting the people in this area and supporting government programs like wealth creation at household level, immunization and HIV/AIDS.
The Leader of Opposition, Betty Aol Ocan said that the late was known for fighting Satan and healing the sick through his religion.
Kibaale Woman MP, Noeline Kisembo said that Bisaka was an NRM supporter, who helped in promoting government programs and fighting poverty.
Buyaga West MP, Barnabas Tinkasimire said that Bisaka will be remembered for bringing up people closer to God.
