Ex-NTV News Anchor Nduhukire Joins NBS TV

NBS Television has announced that former NTV News anchor, Sheila Nduhukire is joining the Kamwokya based station.

Nduhukire was presented on Friday afternoon as a new member of the Next Media Family.

“I’m pleased to introduce to you Sheila Nduhukire. Join me in welcoming her to the Next Media Family – the winning team,” Kin Karisa, the CEO Next Media said.

Nduhukire joins the long list of former NTV journalists who have been taken up by NBS TV.

“Team, with your continued hard work and sacrifice, coupled with the best talents that each of you is in your respective capacities, providing Ugandans with relevant and timely content is surely a vision we’ll keep accomplishing,” Karisa’s statement added.

NTV Uganda has lost a number of experienced staff including Head of News Maurice Mugisha who joined state-run Uganda Broadcasting Corporation (UBC) where he is working as a deputy managing director.

Others include Joel Ssenyonyi who quit for People Power, Rachael Mwine and Charlton Scovia Nakamya. In August, Luganda news anchors Hatma Nalugwa Sekaaya also crossed to NBS TV.

Some of those that have crossed from NTV to NBS include Douglas Lwanga, Raymond Mujuni, MC Kats and Solomon Sserwanjja.

Others include Rukh-Shana Namuyimbwa, Wisdom Kiyonga, Dean Lubowa Saava and Sheila Mugisha who was a features reporter at NTV.
