The Head of Marketing, Product Development and Communications at Ecobank Uganda,Primrose Kobusingye has thrown in the towel at the Pan-African bank for another juicy job, Business Focus exclusively reports.
This website understands that she is set join a yet to be confirmed financial institution.
“Primrose will no longer be an employee of Ecobank come 1st November 2019. She is joining another top financial institution,” an industry source, who preferred to remain anonymous, assured us. Her successor is yet to be established.
Kobusingye (pictured) joined the Pan-African bank in September 2015.
She has experience in Corporate Marketing Communications with a demonstrated history of working in the banking industry.
Before joining Ecobank, she served as Acting Head of Corporate Communications and Marketing at Orient Bank Uganda from September 2012 to August 2015.
She has also previously worked at Scanad Uganda and Presidential Initiative on Banana Industrial Development-still playing communications roles.
She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication from Makerere University and Master of Business Administration (MBA) majoring in Public Relations, Advertising, and Applied Communication. She has also studied marketing at the Chartered Institute of Marketing.
