The government is mourning the sudden death of Kawempe Division Deputy RDC, Deborah Nabukenya who passed away on Tuesday evening.
It is not yet clear what caused her death but according to reports, she got ill on Tuesday morning and was rushed to the hospital then later in the evening, her condition forcing medics at Mengo Hospital to place her on oxygen. However, she breathed her last late on Tuesday evening.
ICT Minister, Frank Tumwebaze took to twitter to mourn the death of Deborah describing her as a brilliant and active person.
“Just got disturbing news from @harderHB about the death of an active young and brilliant youth leader the Deputy RDC of kawempe Deborah . Just in Pain about this young girl. She was always among the best RDCs I worked with. May the almighty God comfort her family. #RIPDeborah,” Tumwebaze tweeted.
