“This is a way of saying thank you to our customers for years of loyalty, and this is only the beginning of greater things to come from Azamtv,” Kalikwani said.

He added that other price cuts include an offer for existing customers where they will enjoy 2 months free subscription when they pay 3 months subscription upfront on any packages of their choice.

He further revealed that Azam is planning to come up with a channel for local movies and drama while other customers will enjoy premium content.

Azam also announced that they have improved on their channels of entertainment and sports with FA Cup and Carabao Cup on the list.

Azam TV joined the Ugandan market in 2014 and it hasn’t found the market smooth given the fact that the market is crowded, with the likes of Kwese Tv struggling to survive.
