Makerere University’s Office of the Academic Registrar, has released the Official admission lists for privately sponsored students for the Academic Year 2017/2018.
Speaking to URN, Charles Ssentongo, the Deputy Academic Registrar said the academic year begins on August 12.
Ssentongo said that all students admitted on private programmes shall begin picking their admission letters on July 28.
Over 16,000 students have been admitted on private scheme for the 2017/2018 academic year.

“All students admitted on private scheme are expected to present their identity cards from their previous schools in order to access their admission letters. The admissions will be ready on Friday next week,” he said.
Of the 16,021 private students admitted, 7,434 are males while 8,587 are females. Makerere University has admitted 4,409 more students on private scheme compared to last year.
