Premier Recruitment Positions Self For 80,000 United Arab Emirates Jobs

Premier Recruitment Ltd, Uganda’s fast growing labour hiring and exporting agency has positioned itself to help Ugandans cash in on the 80,000 jobs available in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

This follows revelation by Janat B. Mukwaya , Minister of Gender, Labour and Social Development that  the Government of Uganda and UAE  signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to offer protection to Ugandan migrants workers in the Middle East country.

 “Immediately upon signing of the MoU, my colleague Minister H.E Nasser bin Thani Al Hamli challenged me as follows: “I need 80,000 Uganda workers in the next 12 months”. This is a huge undertaking and I urge the private sector to take up this offer,” Mukwaya said on Friday.

Against the above background, Rajiv Ruparelia, the Chief Executive Officer of Premier Recruitment told Business Focus that they are ready to take part in helping Ugandan youth secure some of the 80,000 available jobs in UAE in the most efficient and transparent manner.

“We are licensed and regulated by the Ministry of Labour and work closely with Uganda Association of External Recruitment Agencies (UERA); we are very professional and transparent,” Rajiv said.

He added that apart from jobs for domestic workers (maids), Premier Recruitment which runs under Ruparelia Group of Companies, has other exciting jobs including cleaners, plumbers, security guards, waiters/ waitresses, bartenders and massage specialists among others.

Headquartered  at Crane Chambers along  Kampala road,  Premier Recruitment which officially started exporting labour early this year has already secured close to 100 jobs for Ugandans in countries like  Saudi Arabia and Qatar.

The UAE has been the largest destination for the bulk of Ugandan migrant workers, according to Minister Mukwaya.

 “…The terms and conditions of employment of Ugandan worker in the United Arab Emirates shall be defined by an individual employment contract between the worker and the employer. Further, an offer that is mirrored on the contract will be signed by both parties prior to the worker’s departure from Uganda. The written text of the employment offer shall be delivered to the prospective worker in English and Arabic and explained by the Ugandan recruitment agency to the recipient where unclear.
All recruitment, hiring and placement activities of workers in both countries shall be permitted only under recruitment companies licensed by both Governments,” Mukwaya said.


She added: “Upon arrival of the worker in the United Arab Emirates,  he/she will sign an employment contract that will clearly state the rights and obligations of the worker and employer, in conformity with the labour laws of the United Arab Emirates, and the contract will be duly filed with the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratization in the UAE to constitute the sole binding contract document for the purpose of enforcement in the United Arab Emirates.
The terms and conditions of employment, as stated in the contract, shall not vary from those contained in the employment offer except for alterations that are favorable to the worker.”

    It’s good for Ugandan to go abroad to get job. Mostly youth whom don’t have money to pay in companies,if their gov provide them money to pay that money back it could be better as gov.
