Motorsport: Rajiv Comes 2nd In Debut Rally

Rajiv Ruparelia, son to tycoon Sudhir Ruparelia has come second in his debut rally- the National Enduro Autocross Championship 2019 that took place at Zion Estate, Ssisa.

Over fifteen notable crews participated in the Autocross race.

Rajiv recorded 10: 44 behind Ronald Sebuguzi, who came first with 10:04.

While it was his debut rally, Rajiv visibly had many fans, who cheered him on compared to other participants.

Rajiv, under his RR Rally Team run his newly launched VW Polo Proto imported from Poland.

The businessman turned rally drive recently received specialised training at the Rally Sports Academy from Sun Carousel, in Johannesburg, South Africa under the stewardship of Africa’s No.1 trainer Leone Botha.

Rajiv’s future in motorsport is bright

During the unveiling of his machine recently, Rajiv named his team managed by his uncle, Dipu Ruparelia, himself a veteran rally driver.

Other team members include Mike Mwangi, the Chief Mechanic and Ronnie Walia, the Navigator.
