Uganda confirmed 15 new COVID-19 cases on Thursday 21 May, 2020. The total confirmed cases of Ugandans are now 160, Health Ministry has said.
“10 new cases are truck drivers who arrived via Elegu while 5 cases are among community samples. All community cases were under quarantine at the time of test,” Dr. Henry Mwebesa (pictured), the Director General-Health Services at Ministry of Health said.

The Ministry added that 21 positive foreign truck drivers were handed over to their country of origin.
Total Foreign truck drivers handed over to their country of origin since Presidential directive stand at 145.
Uganda has 66 COVID-19 recoveries and zero deaths related to the decease.
