2018 is promising to be a good year for Ntinda based hang out, Koko Bar.
According to sources at the popular night club, the boss, Simon Rusoke has entered a deal with Castle Lite that will see the latter sponsor theme nights on Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday.
“Even though there are other night spots emerging, Koko still maintains its place as favourite for many. However, the owner doesn’t want to rest on his laurels. That’s why he is making more partnerships in 2018,” the source told us.
Entertainment analysts believe the partnership will go a long way in attracting more revelers to the hangout.
The source adds of the spot that attracts a mixture of campus babes and Kampala’s elite, “It has always been a goal of management to make prices friendlier and I think this will attempt to do just that.”
In a bid to attract more corporate clients, he has reportedly created ample parking space by bouncing boda boda riders who were crowing the area along the road.
It waits to be seen how this strategy will work but those conversant with the workings of its owner say he is a shrewd businessman who has mastered the art of growing pubs from scratch.
