Uganda Confirmed COVID-19 Cases Increase To 665, Recoveries Stand At 119

The Ministry of Health has confirmed eight (8) new COVID-19 cases from samples tested on 09 June 2020 bringing the total confirmed cases to 665.

‪”4 of the new cases are truck drivers while the other 4 are among contacts and alerts from Kyotera, Amuru and Kayunga Districts,” Dr. Henry Mwebesa (pictured), the Director General-Health Services at Ministry of Health said in a statement.

He added that total recoveries stand at 119 and there’s no COVID-19 related deaths recorded so far.

He added that 31 foreign nationals tested positive and were handled over to their respective countries of origin.
