Uganda Airlines staff at the IFTAR dinner on Thursday evening.
The management of Uganda Airlines on Thursday hosted the Muslim community to an Iftar dinner.
This was at the Sheraton in Kampala.
The holy month of Ramadan is a time of reflection, devotion, and compassion. It is a time when we are reminded of the importance of community, of giving, and of coming together in the spirit of solidarity,” said Adedayo Olawuyi, the Chief Commercial Officer, Uganda Airlines.
According to Olawuyi, the Uganda Airlines has always strived to be more than just a provider of air travel.
“We aim to be a true partner in progress, fostering connections that transcend borders, cultures, and communities. This evening, we take part in the Iftar; we also celebrate the rich tapestry of diversity that defines our stakeholder family. It is this diversity that strengthens us and propels us towards a future shared success,” added Olawuyi. “We recognize that the journey ahead is paved with both challenges and opportunities. Yet, it is through our collective efforts, our unwavering commitment, and our shared vision that we will continue to soar to new heights. Uganda Airlines remained dedicated to delivering exceptional service, enhancing connectivity, and contributing to the socio-economic development of our beloved nation.”
Olawuyi commended the Muslim community for being instrumental in “our journey thus far.”
“Your support, trust, and collaboration are the cornerstones of our success, and we are profoundly grateful for your continued support,” said Olawuyi.
