UCAA and Rotary Club of Entebbe officials handing over the Orthopeadic equipment to Entebbe Regional Referral Hospital
The Rotary Foundation through the Rotary Club of Entebbe and Rotary District 9214 in conjunction with Uganda Civil Aviation Authority (UCAA) recently handed over Orthopeadic Equipment to Entebbe Regional Referral Hospital.
The function was presided over by District Governor, Peace Taremwa.
Also present was Dr. Charles Olaro, Director Clinical Services representing the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Health, among other officials from Joint Medical Stores who assisted Rotary in procuring the equipment.
The UCAA Deputy Director General, Olive Birungi Lumonya said the partnership with the Rotary Club of Entebbe was part of the Authority’s strategy to support noble causes, especially in the vicinity of Entebbe International Airport.
Birungi thanked the hospital for always responding to the Airport’s emergency exercises and in other times of need. She commended Rotary’s efforts in ensuring better health care facilities for the people of Entebbe.
