Uganda Breweries was the overall winner at the 2nd annual Prudential Best HR Practices Survey Report launch and awards ceremony that took place at Kampala Serena Hotel on Friday, March 24th, 2024.
The ceremony was hosted by Prudential Uganda in partnership with PwC. Uganda Breweries Limited, which won the 2021 Overall Award, also emerged as the overall winner for 2022 Best HR Practices in Uganda.
The Prudential Best HR Practices Survey is a human capital and talent management survey aimed at giving employers an opportunity to hear from their employees on how they (the employees) assess their organization’s HR practices.
UBL was also a winner in the categories of Best Practices in Reward and Recognition, Employee Engagement and Enablement, and Performance and Talent Management.
The UBL Finance and Strategy Director Eunice Waweru applauded Prudential for organizing the awards and all UBL employees for participating in the survey.

Other category winners include Minet Uganda (Company Performance and Confidence), Cipla Quality Chemical Industries Limited (Quality and Innovation), Stanbic Bank Uganda (Diversity and Inclusion), Absa Bank Uganda (Workplace culture and environment), MTN Uganda (Environmental, Social and Governance Compliance) among others.
