Soroti Woman MP Angelina Osege Reveals Why She Quit FDC For ANT

MP Angelina Osege

Soroti district Woman MP, Angelina Osege has revealed why she quit Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) for Alliance for National Transformation (ANT).

Speaking to journalists at Parliament today, Osege said she quit her former political party over its continued practice of what she termed as extremist politics and ideologies of anger.

She says her new party would provide people with what they should do in times of crisis.

Osege is facing a serious political rival from FDC’s Ann Ebaju Adeke, who is now the National Female Youth MP.

Osege says that she joined the Alliance for National Transformation because FDC as a party was promoting politics of bitterness among the people across the country instead of directing them on how to liberate themselves from poverty and other issues affecting them.

She adds that they are focusing on building the Alliance for National Transformation party to have unity among Ugandans.

Osege says that Uganda needs a leader like ANT’s President General Mugisha Muntu, who is  focused on furthering the democracy and unifying the people .
