Parliament To Train Committee Chairpersons On How To Avoid Corruption

Parliament is set to train Committee Chairpersons on how to avoid and fight corruption during the execution of their duties. The decision was reached at during a meeting between  Prime Minister, Robinah Nabbanja  and the Business Committee of Parliament, where the PM  tabled a list of 66 bills that will be considered during the 4th session of the 11th Parliament.

Among the Bills lined up by the Government include; The National Health Insurance Scheme Bill, Consumer Protection Bill 2023, The UPDF Amendment Act,  Uganda Public Service Funeral Management Bill 2024, The Scrap Recycling Bill 2024 and The Uganda Land Commission Bill, 2024 among others.

The ruling National Resistance Movement (NRM) on Tuesday unveiled new Chairpersons and their deputies of various Committees of Parliament.
