Uganda has discharged more 10 patients who have recovered from the COVID-19. This brings the total number of recovered patients to 38 out of the 55 confirmed cases.
The 10 patients were discharged today at Entebbe Grade B hospital at an event presided over by State Minister for Primary Health Care, Dr. Moriku Joyce Kaducu.
“State Minister for Primary Health Care, @MorikuJoyce presided over the discharge of 10 patients (5 Children from the Watoto Choir, 3 of their attendants, 1 boda boda rider from Kasubi,1 from Kalangala) at Entebbe Grade B hospital. Total COVID-19 recoveries now stand at 38,” the Health Ministry said on its twitter handle.
Yesterday President Yoweri Museveni thanked Ugandans for adhering to his guidelines and those of Ministry of Health aimed at fighting COVID-19.
