Uganda Baati has marked a significant milestone as its Chief Executive Officer, George Arodi, completes nine years at the helm of the company, a tenure characterised by growth, innovation and a deep commitment to national development.
Since assuming office, Arodi has steered the company through a period of strategic transformation, strengthening Uganda Baati’s position as a leading manufacturer of quality roofing solutions in the country.
Under his leadership, the company has expanded its market footprint, with over 20 showrooms spread across the country, enhanced operational efficiency and diversified its product range to meet evolving customer needs.
Arodi’s leadership has been instrumental in advancing local manufacturing, contributing to job creation and skills development across the company. Through continuous investment in technology and people, Uganda Baati has improved production standards while reinforcing a culture of safety, professionalism and accountability.
Beyond commercial success, the CEO has championed community engagement and corporate social responsibility initiatives, supporting housing development, education programmes, and community infrastructure projects across Uganda.
