GOtv, one of the leading pay TV players in Uganda has launched a promotion dubbed ‘Wangula School Fees ne GOtv’ where parents and caretakers of school going children will be rewarded and supported with school fees for the upcoming second term.
George Ssemanda, the GOtv Uganda National Sales Manager said that the campaign is pegged on demonstrating how grateful they are to their customers who have supported them over the years.
“We have chosen school requirements in terms of fees and scholastic materials, because it’s a key requirement that every parent needs to endure and as GOtv, we want to resonate more with what our subscribers encounter in their everyday lives and lessen any burdens they may face,” he said at a recent launch.
New customers who purchase a GOtv full kit at Shs87, 500 (decoder, antenna plus one month subscription on GOtv plus) will enter the draw to win themselves school fees or be among the weekly lucky winners who will walk away with scholastic materials.
Additionally, subscribers who renew subscriptions or upgrade to GOtv Plus or GOtv Value will also automatically enter the draw to win the various prizes.
Tina Wamala, MultiChoice Uganda PR Manager, said the promotion will run up to June3, 2017.
“All new subscribers as well as subscribers who upgrade to GOtv Value or GOtv Plus or renew their subscriptions and send their details to our short code will enter final draw to win school fees that will see over 100 lucky winners being awarded,” she said, adding: “Every week, 10 lucky winners stand a chance to win and walk away with scholastic materials and school fees.”
