Uganda’s army has dismissed reports that the commander of Land Forces, General Peter Elwelu is mentally sick.
A news website had reported that Elwelu is bedridden at his residence with a mental disorder, however, the army spokesperson, Brig Richard Karemire rubbished the reports.
“We wish to dismiss the rumour circulated by “The Capital Times”regarding the health of Lt Gen Peter Elwelu the UPDF CLF.There is absolutely no iota of truth in the mentioned article.The contents should therefore be ignored and not cause any anxiety,” Karemire tweeted on Monday.
