Hadijah Nannyomo (in featured photo) has been appointed Partner at Ernst & Young (EY) Africa effective 1 July 2019.
In August 2012 she moved to Ernst & Young Kenya to develop Customs and Excise service offerings in the East African region.
Nannyomo is currently the East Africa cluster leader for Customs, Excise and International trade services. Her client portfolio spans across Consumer Products and Retail, Energy and Telecoms Sectors.
She has worked and served Ernst &Young clients in Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda, South Africa, South Sudan, Nigeria and Ghana while executing assignments in all areas of tax majoring in Indirect taxes.
Nannyomo joined EY Uganda in December 2005 as a senior tax advisor. She is considered a key technical training resource and facilitator at several internal and external EY as well as industry/corporate events.
Prior to joining EY she worked with Uganda Revenue Authority as a Revenue Officer.
She holds a Master’s Degree in Economic Policy and Planning and a Bachelor’sDegree in Statistics both from Makerere University. She is a Fellow of the Association of Certified Chartered Accountants (ACCA) of UK and a member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Uganda (ICPAU).
