Equity Bank Uganda will be hosting a dinner forum on Friday the 15th of September 2017 at Grange Tower Bridge Hotel 45 Prescot St, London E1 8GP, UK from 6:00 pm.
During the dinner, the bank’s Managing Director, Samuel Kirubi will be speaking on Investment Opportunities in Uganda and other East African countries.
According to information from the bank, the aim is to meet with Ugandans in the UK and share with them the emerging investment opportunities in Uganda as well as in other East African countries. This is premised on the fact that East Africa is a region with investment potential – from agriculture, mining, tourism, real estate, energy among others.
Kirubi will also highlight how Equity Bank is supporting Ugandans to invest back home.
In addition to the dinner, Mr. Kirubi will also be speaking at the 7th Annual Uganda-UK Investment Convention in London, on the theme “Partnering for Wealth Creation”. It will be happening on 16th September 2017 at 12:10 pm. The Convention will be held at Troxy, 490 Commercial Rd, E1 0HX London UK.
Government officials from both UK and Uganda will participate and dialogue at the highest level. Discussions will centre on key FDI to Uganda, UK Exports, and boosting imports from Uganda and business Partnerships, access to finance, and flagship bankable projects in priority sectors like: Natural Resources, Agribusiness, Tourism, Health, Power and Critical Infrastructure.
