Uganda’s Electoral body, the Electoral Commission (EC) will on Friday host a twitter chat to better inform the public on the on going General Update Of Voters’ Register.
The General Update Of Voters’ Register exercise was launched last week by the EC Chairperson, Justice Simon Byabakama and is expected to end on 11th December 2019.
Friday’s Twitter session between 9 and 10am with the EC Publicist, Jotham Taremwa, will be conducted under the hashtags #AskEC and #UgandaDecides2021.
Taremwa is expected to answer all questions regarding the exercise that is preparing Ugandans for the 2021 general elections.
During the launch last week, Byabakama warned that anyone who wants to participate in the 2021 general elections should take advantage of this time to update their record in the national voters’ register.
