Uganda’s Prime Minister, Robinah Nabbanja (pictured) has received threatening messages, warning her to back off on the fight against corruption.
Nabbanja made the revelation Friday during the Bunyoro Parliamentary Caucus elections at Parliament.
Nabbanja says that she was surprised to learn from her brother that someone had driven from Kampala to Kakumiro just to ask him to request her to stay out of their way.
She now says that she plans to inform the president who is her boss about the matter, saying that she is only interested in service delivery.
It should be remembered that the prime minister at the beginning of this week rejected some relief items for the people of Kasese affected by floods over poor quality.
Nabbanja also says that she has rejected the report on the purchase of the relief items, saying that she is going to ask the IGG and head of state house anti-corruption unit to investigate this scandal further.
Nabbanja asked fellow legislators to work together and concentrate on service delivery.
