City businessman Rajiv Ruparelia is increasingly making his mark on Uganda’s motorsport game.
The latest is that Rajiv on Sunday emerged the winner of Kapeeka Industrial Park- Mosac Autocross Championship after he completed the race in 02:41.
His fans were left thrilled and entertained as the businessman showed flair and skill behind the wheel.
The rally was presided over by Gen. Salim Saleh, who bases in Kapeeka as the chief coordinator of Operation Wealth Creation.
Saleh congratulated Rajiv and said he was thrilled by his skills.
It should be noted that Rajiv, son to tycoon Sudhir Ruparelia is new in this game but is already giving senior rally drivers a run for their money.
He came out second in his debut rally- the National Enduro Autocross Championship 2019 that took place at Zion Estate, Ssisa in May.
He recorded 10: 44 behind Ronald Sebuguzi, who came first with 10:04.
The businessman turned rally drive recently received specialised training at the Rally Sports Academy from Sun Carousel, in Johannesburg, South Africa under the stewardship of Africa’s No.1 trainer Leone Botha.
