The National Drug Authority (NDA) is looking for competent persons with required skills, knowledge, attitude and qualifications to fill its mandate.
NDA is an autonomous body which was established by the National Drug Policy And Authority Act Cap 206 , Laws Of Uganda (2000 Edition) to regulate human and veterinary medicines and other healthcare products.
NDA’s mandate is to ensure availability of efficacious and cost-effective drugs to the entire population of Uganda at all times, as a means of providing satisfactory health care and safeguarding the appropriate use of drugs.
In order to effectively fulfill its mandate, the authority is seeking to recruit over 60 Ugandans to fill the following positions; Director Laboratory Services (1), Head Regional Offices and In-Charge Of Greater Kampala (1), Head Enforcement (1), Head Procurement (1), Manager Regional Office (3), Manager Public Relations (1), Principal Regulatory Officer- Research (1), Principal Regulatory Officer- Medicines (1), Principal Monitoring And Evaluation Officer (1), Regulatory Officer- Enforcement (7), Regulatory Officer (3), Risk Management Officer (1), Fleet Management Officer (1), Accountant (2), Management Information System Officer (1), Legal Officer (1), Internal Auditor (1), Court Clerk (1), Laboratory Analyst (5), Laboratory Assistant (4), Laboratory Technician (7), Administrative Assistant (8), Front Office Assistant (1) and Driver (5).
