Two Policemen were on Thursday night shot dead by yet to be identified armed criminals.
According to a statement issued by the police spokesperson, Emilian Kayima, the two cops were shot dead in Kawempe, a suburb in the capital, Kampala.
They were attached to a police station in the same area.
The fallen officers are; Vincent Habiyeremye No. 53118 and Ambrose Otim No. 60403. There bodies are at Mulago Hospital where a post mortem is being carried out.
The statement adds that police has since launched a manhunt for the unknown gunmen.
