Corruption cases, misuse of public office and resources have increased following the outbreak of COVID-19 in Uganda, the Inspectorate of Government has revealed.

The IGG has warned public servants against indulging in corrupt activities and called on the public to report such cases.

“The Inspectorate of Government warns all public officials to desist from any form of corruption and taking advantage of the Lockdown in the country. Members of the public are encouraged to report any incidences and or suspicions of corruption to the IGG,” the IGG added.
