TMR International Hospital has unveiled a state-of-the-art medical imaging facility in Naalya.
The IRIS Imaging Center was unveiled before the facility’s stakeholders and partners, at a high-end cocktail on Friday, October 25, 2024.
The Minister of State for Children and Youth Affairs in the Ministry of Gender, Labor, and Social Development, Balam Barugahara, presided over the launch. He commended the facility, saying the equipment is the third in the East African region, and asked Ugandans to make good use of the medical imaging facility.
Dr. Daniel Mitchell Talemwa, the Executive Director of TMR, said that the imaging facility is designed to meet Uganda’s growing demand for advanced diagnosis, and will offer cutting-edge imaging technology, including MRI, CT, ultrasound, and digital x-ray systems, to deliver precise, efficient, and compassionate diagnostic care.
