Panic As Vision Group Staff Tests Positive For COVID-19

There’s panic at the headquarters of Vision Group in Industrial Area after one of its staff tested positive for the deadly COVID-19.

In a statement dated August 17, 2020, Robert Kabushenga, the Vision Group CEO says one of their staff working at the head office in Kampala tested positive for COVID-19 over the weekend.

He added that the case is being handled with and under the guidance of Ministry of Health.

“Management is tracking all possible contacts at office and will collaborate with the medical workers to facilitate further tests,” Kabushenga said.

He added: “Those identified as having been in contact with the concerned staff will be required to remain home and isolate for a period of 14 days.”

Kabushenga added that the office will be disinfected at regular intervals and all staff will be required to observe Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Sources at Vision Group say the office is currently being disinfected.
