Futsal: Fireworks as Typhoons, Riham face off

Futsal Super League tonight:

KSPG vs. Park, 7p.m

Parakeets vs. YEAK, 7p.m

Elephants vs. Dream, 8 p.m

Riham vs. Typhoons, 8 p.m

Kabowa vs. Bajim, 9 p.m

Typhoons will face-off against Riham in a tough Futsal Super League encounter at the International Futsal Courts in Mengo.

On paper, the match should be one of the tightly fought games of the league with both teams capable of getting the win with their best game on the day.

Defending will be crucial for both squads as they are capable of amassing big scores.

Typhoons coach, Hakim Ssebunya, who unleashed Veron Bikamata in the unrivalled 8-0 win over Elephants last week still holds firm of his team’s potential to beat anyone in the second round.

“We take game by game but I know for sure that we are capable of hurting Riham,” he said yesterday.

Typhoons will remain third with a win although Riham could overtake them when they triumph.

Elsewhere, the top two sides, KSPG and Dream are expected to have winnable games against Park and Elephants respectively.
