Sam Simbwa Appointed URA FC Coach

Veteran Ugandan coach, Sam Simbwa has been named caretaker coach of Uganda Revenue Authority Football Club (URA FC).

This development was revealed by URA Director of communications in a statement issued on Thursday two days after the team’s coach Paul Nkata stepped down.

Below is the statement.

We confirm the URA FC coach Paul Nkata, resigned on 24th April 2018. He had been with us for a period of four Months. The board welcomes his resignation and has named a care taker.

The URA FC Board thanks Paul Nkata for the time he gave the Club and we wish him the best in all his future endeavors.
Over the years, URA FC has endeavored to build a winning team.

Just like our tagline:One Team One Dream, this is the time the team needs all the support necessary from our beloved fans and we pledge all that is required to keep this dream alive.

The URA FC Board sitting today 26th April 2018, has appointed Sam Simbwa Bamweyana to guide the team up to the end of the season.
